Badab

Badab: Badab is a world located on the eastern frings of Imperial space, in the Ultima Segmentum, near to the border with the Squat homeworlds. Badab is also a gateway to the Maelstrom; a giant and permanent warpstorm that, like the Eye of Terror, is a gateway between the Warp and realspace. Badab has long been garrisoned by a Space Marine chapter, and until 908.M41 this was a duty carried out by the Astral Claws.
Following the treachery of the Claws, Badab was virus-bombed and considered cleansed.
