High Gothic

High Gothic: The language spoken by the higher classes in the Imperium, and also used by groups such as the Administratum. Although it is not, in fact, actually Latin, it takes on the appearance of pseudo-Latin in the novels so that it is both readable and, at the same time, an obviously different language.
