Neophyte

Neophyte: Once an candidate Space Marine has passed all preliminary tests for compatibility and begun their physical development they become a Neophyte. They are usually left in the Homeworld during their implantation and training period, although some chapters such as the Black Templars field them in mixed squads along with their regular battle brothers to gain combat experience.
