Strike Craft

Strike Craft: Strike Craft are faster and equipped with lighter armoured than Battle Barges and slighlty smaller than the Imperial Navy Dauntless class light cruisers. Configurations vary but always include large ordanance bays for drop pods, boarding torpedoes and Thunderhawk Gunships. The warp engines are comparatively much more powerful than those of the Battle Barges, putting them in the normal role of rapid response craft. Their deployment capacity is smaller than that of the Battle Barge, being only a single company.
