Battle Barge: The largest of the Adeptus Astartes ships, excluding the Fotress Monastries. It is usually configured for supporting planetary lansings and carries bombardment towers and torpedo tubes. The ships are heavily armoured and well shielded, with a large amount of space being given over to Thunderhawk Gunships and Drop Pods. A barge can potentially deploy three entire companies of Space Marines at once for planetary assaults.
