Sanguinus

Sanguinus: Primarch of the Blood Angels Chapter of Space Marines. When the Chaos Gods scattered the infant Primarchs throughout the galaxy, Sanguinus was cast to the harsh world of Baal Secundus.
Sanguinus was born with wings which grew into great white pinions, like those of angel. It is said that, unlike many of the other Primarchs Sanguinus recognised the Emperor on sight, and bowed before him.
During the Horus Heresy, Sanguinus was charged with the defence of the Ultimate Gate and was one of those who accompanied the Emperor in his assault upon Horus' battle barge, during which the Primarch was slain by the Warmaster.
