Battle of Four Armies: Inconclusive skirmish near Middenheim in 2100. It was the first fought between the new Lord of Sylvania, Konrad von Carstein, and the Empire, at that time seperated into three Imperial factions: those who followed Emperor Ludwig of Altdorf, those who followed the Ottilia of Talabecland and those who supported the claim of Helmut of <a href="Marienburg. The battle is more famous for the in-fighting between the Imperial factions than for anything else, since Crown Prince Lutwik and the Ottilia simultaneously ordered each others' assassination in breach of their truce.

Helmut of Marienburg's claim to the Imperial throne had a permanent end put to it by von Carstein, who turned him into a zombie servant. Even his son, Helmar, found it difficult to support his claim at that point.

Despite this, Konrad von Carstein failed to achieve a notable victory and returned to Sylvania without further incident to prepare for a future campaign.
